EUSPR 2025 Instructions for Presenters

Here below are the instructions for the presentation formats:

Instructions for poster presenters

• Posters should be printed no bigger than A0, and be in portrait orientation. Please specify your abstract #ID in the poster.
• Hanging materials & poster number allocation will be provided at the registration desk.
• Please check Indico for your poster session day.
• Poster session 1 (24th September): Please hang your poster at the start of Day 1 (after registration, but before the conference opening). Please remove at the end of the poster session, or at the very latest, at the end of the day.
• Poster session 2 (25th September): Please hang your poster at the start of Day 2. Please remove at the end of the poster session, or at the very latest, at the end of the day.
• Posters that are not removed at the end of the allotted day can be found at the registration desk.

Instructions for oral session presenters

• Your talk slot is 12-15 minutes in total, including time for at least one question. 
• There will be further time at the end of each session for additional questions/discussion.
• Talks should be in PowerPoint. We will be using Windows laptops. If you are bringing your own Apple device for your presentation, then please ensure that you also bring the necessary adaptors, as these will not be provided.
• Please arrive a few minutes early to load your presentation onto the laptop.
• Each session will have a Chair who will guide the proceedings and ensure timekeeping.
• Oral presentation sessions are scheduled in 1 to 1.5h sessions, including 4 to 6 different presentations in the same session.

Instructions for campfire presenters

• Your talk slot is 30 minutes in total, including time for at least one question. 
• There will be further time at the end of each session for additional questions/discussion.
• Talks should be in PowerPoint. We will be using Windows laptops. If you are bringing your own Apple device for your presentation, then please ensure that you also bring the necessary adaptors, as these will not be provided.
• Please arrive a few minutes early to load your presentation onto the laptop.
• Campfire sessions are scheduled in 1 to 1.5h sessions, including 2 to 3 different campfires in the same session.
• Campfire presenters will act as their own facilitators, inviting comments and questions from the audience. 

Instructions for symposium sessions

• Symposium sessions include 4 to 5 presentations, scheduled in 1 to 1.5h sessions. 
• There will be further time at the end of each session for additional questions/discussion.
• Talks should be in PowerPoint. We will be using Windows laptops. If you are bringing your own Apple device for your presentation, then please ensure that you also bring the necessary adaptors, as these will not be provided.
• Please arrive a few minutes early to load your presentation onto the laptop.
• Symposium sessions are scheduled in 1 to 1.5h sessions.
• Symposium sessions have their own Chair who will guide the proceedings and ensure timekeeping. 
• Symposium leads will coordinate the session and collect the presentations for the session.
