Sloboda and Practitioner Award Nominations Opening
We are now accepting award nominations for two EUSPR 2019 awards, with the winners announced at this years’ meeting in Ghent:
- The Sloboda Medal is awarded for sustained contribution to the development of Prevention Science in Europe and internationally.
Applicants will be judged on: a) the significance of their contribution to the development of prevention science, as well as b) their contribution to the activities of the EUSPR, c) as well as specific examples where this contribution has been sustained and d) evidence of their local and wider impact within the field. - The Leading European Prevention Science Practitioner Honour is awarded for outstanding leadership of the adoption and implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies, including support for further high-quality research evaluation.
Applicants will be judged on: a) their leadership in adopting and implementing evidence-based strategies within prevention science, as well as b) their contribution to the activities of the EUSPR, c) specific examples where their influence on prevention science practice has been sustained and d) evidence of their involvement in supporting ongoing, high-quality prevention research evaluation.
