EUSPR 2020 Pre-conference workshops2020 Keynote speakers

EUSPR 2019 Post-conference workshops2020 Conference Programme

Our theme this year is  ‘Make prevention science relevant for all: co-production and impact’ and our keynotes and special sessions will focus on reducing the gap between science and practice in prevention, understanding co-production and the role of policy makers, practitioners, communities and researchers to develop efficacious, sustainable and cost-effectiveness prevention interventions in practice.

Abstract proposals may be submitted through the Ex Ordo online platform (https://euspr2020.exordo.com/registration). Although different formats are available, we encourage presenters to select poster or oral poster presentations. All proposals will be peer reviewed and the scientific committee may suggest changes of modality.

We will present a hybrid program with live and recorded communications. All presentations will be recorded to make them available to EUSPR members.

Conference registration and EUSPR Membership

The 11th EUSPR conference will be presented for the first time in a virtual and open format. Even though this year’s conference will be free of charge, only EUSPR members will grant access to the recorded sessions and a reduced fee for the 2021 conference to be held in Tallinn, Estonia, September 29th to October 1st  2021. Therefore, we encourage renewal of 2021 membership previous to the celebration of the online conference. Please note that you will still have to fulfill membership eligibility criteria.

Membership fees

Membership fees have been determined in correspondence with a poll among potential members and they are based upon the country in which a member is employed. The fee to be paid is determined by the average academic salary in each country, adjusted for the cost of living. Accordingly, we have three membership fee levels. Membership benefits are the same across all fee levels.

  • Level A fees are currently €88 per year. Countries include: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and USA.
  • Level B fees are currently €48 per year. Countries include: Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, and Turkey.
  • Level C fees are currently €33 per year. Countries include: Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. This category also includes all other countries in non-European territories that have not been mentioned above.
  • Students from any country attending a registered institution and studying for a degree may be eligible to pay the lowest fee (Level C). Please note: Student members are not eligible to stand for election to the EUSPR Board although we have representation from our Early Career researcher group..

Please contact us to determine if you are eligible for student fees.

If your country is not listed or you are unsure at which level you should pay fees then please contact us.
